About Us:
MBI Nutraceuticals has been in business since 1985 and has a mission to bring balance back to life through quality nutrition. We are a growing dietary supplement manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality, safe, and effective products. We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee all Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) operations at our facility. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to ownership, responsible for designing, revising, and improving our current quality system.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with FDA cGMP (21 CFR Part 111) and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Oversee Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions, including raw material testing, in-process checks, and finished product evaluation.
Manage and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Conduct internal audits, supplier qualification, and third-party audits to maintain compliance and ensure product quality.
Lead training programs for employees on quality standards, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Manage a small team of Quality Employees and oversee all Production, Packaging and Customer Service quality operations.
Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Ensure accurate and thorough documentation, record-keeping, and reporting for regulatory inspections and company needs.
Work closely with production, R&D, and ownership to continuously improve quality processes and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing.
In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations (21 CFR Part 111), NSF GMP Certification and other relevant industry standards.
Experience with audits, CAPA processes, and quality system development.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work independently, lead a team, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Work Hours: M-F 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Bonuses Available for Performance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
