wWe are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Engineer to serve as the primary quality representative at our new manufacturing facility in Snow Hill, North Carolina
.This role is responsible for daily quality operations, coordination with customers and suppliers, and ensuring disciplined execution of quality systems across incoming inspection, molding processes, customer issue resolution, and corrective action management
.The ideal candidate has manufacturing and automotive industry experience, understands IATF expectations, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams. This individual will take full ownership of quality issues from identification through final resolution

esIncoming Inspection & Supplier Quali
- tyOversee incoming inspection activities for raw materials, components, and purchased part
- s.Ensure inspection criteria, sampling plans, and acceptance standards are clearly defined, implemented, and followe
- d.Maintain and review supplier documentation, including material certifications and inspection record
- s.Collaborate with suppliers and quality leadership on containment actions and corrective measures for nonconforming material
s.Customer Quality & Corrective Actio
- nsServe as the on-site point of contact for customer quality issues, coordinating with CQE teams (including Mexico-based support teams
- ).Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes, including 8D problem-solving, containment actions, and permanent corrective action
- s.Track and manage customer RMAs, returns, and chargebacks through closur
- e.Ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication of all customer quality concern
s.Process & Injection Molding Quality Oversig
- htProvide quality oversight for injection molding operations, including first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final product verificatio
- n.Review and support development of molding inspection standards, defect criteria, and control plan
- s.Partner with production, engineering, and tooling teams to address process variation, defects, and quality trend

- onMaintain accurate quality records, inspection data, nonconformance reports, and corrective action documentatio
- n.Support development and enforcement of IATF-aligned procedures and work instruction

Qualifications & Experie
