Overview
Under general supervision, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems and protocols. This role involves creating and implementing inspection, testing, and evaluation procedures to ensure the accuracy and precision of products and production equipment. The ideal candidate will analyze testing processes and mechanisms, perform quality assurance tests, and apply statistical analysis to manage product quality risks and support continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and protocols in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Design and improve inspection and testing processes, including equipment and methodologies.
Conduct quality assurance tests and perform statistical analyses to monitor process control and mitigate quality risks.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for quality and process-related issues.
Identify and apply appropriate statistical methods to enhance manufacturing processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the Quality Management System.
Provide training to increase quality awareness across departments.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth transfer of newly developed products.
Conduct internal and external audits, follow up on findings, and coordinate CAPA actions.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of quality documentation.
Implement and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) and identify opportunities for process optimization.
