We are looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer to strengthen our supplier quality and optimize our internal processes. As a customer-focused company operating in a dynamic, global environment that constantly pushes the limits of innovation, we need you to help us build a lasting culture of quality.

From the design of molds to final production and assembly, everything happens under one roof. This allows us to develop, test, and optimize product ideas rapidly. As we continue to push the boundaries of what is technically possible in the high-tech cycling industry, we need a dedicated Quality Engineer to ensure our products maintain the supreme quality our customers expect.

The role:

As a Quality Engineer, you will drive product quality and process efficiency. You will identify and resolve quality issues to ensure full compliance with industry standards, including ISO 9001. By leveraging your technical expertise, you will ensure our processes remain robust, effectively integrated into our QMS, and optimized for continuous improvement. In this position you will get the chance to work on a wide scope of Quality related topics, such as: Product Development, NPI, Supplier Quality, Operational Quality & Quality Control, QMS & Compliance and Internal Audits.

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

  • Partner with Engineering to execute APQP and PPAP activities, FMEA, capability, and gage studies, through the entire product lifecycle.
  • Lead the development of our supplier quality initiatives to ensure all incoming materials meet technical specifications and high-performance standards.
  • Manage production quality processes, including Nonconformances (NCR), Material Review Boards (MRB), and material traceability.
  • Work in close partnership with our QC team to ensure operational alignment, process consistency, and high-quality production outputs.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality products by validating that every feature is functional, reliable, and meets the specific needs of the end user.
  • Support the integrity of our ISO 9001-certified QMS by executing data-driven action items resulting from Management Review to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Lead and execute internal audits to maintain QMS compliance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Represent the Quality department in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process to ensure product integrity and lead Document Control (DCO).
  • Lead the calibration program, ensuring all test and inspection equipment is maintained to meet reliability and compliance standards.
  • Perform statistical and quality trend analysis to support operations, manufacturing, and engineering, identifying recurring nonconformances and leading targeted improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a technical expert on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA).

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline and some years of experience within a Manufacturing or Supply Chain environment.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and management systems, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (preferred).
  • Proficiency in quality engineering tools such as APQP, FMEA, and Gage Studies.
  • Proven experience with continuous improvement methodologies like DMAIC, PDCA, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • An analytical & problem-solving mindset.
  • You apply risk-based thinking to proactively identify potential hazards and assess risks, ensuring product reliability and process integrity.
  • You are a team-oriented professional with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work effectively with diverse groups / disciplines.
  • You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with a preference for proficiency in Dutch.
