Job Title: QA / Engineer

Position Reports To: RAQA Director
Summary:
This position is responsible for the management of the customer complaint system. Investigation, decision trees, documenting and reporting (as necessary) are key elements to this position. Gathering and reporting complaint trend data is required to support trend analysis reports and Management Reviews.
Additional activities include, but not limited to, internal and external management of the calibration systems, supporting audit activities (both internal and external), ESD control/management in production areas, and various technical support activities in Engineering and Production departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of the customer complaint system.
Perform detailed trend analysis on customer complaints and work closely with peers to track and resolve complaints.
Write and submit Medical Device Reports to various regulatory bodies (USA, Canadian and European regulatory bodies).
Perform / assist with internal and external audits to MDSAP and ISO 14385 standards representing the customer complaint system.
Perform and report detailed trend analysis for internal manufacturing defects through quarterly and yearly trend reviews. Analyze and create customer / process trends as requested.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform and manage in-house calibration for a variety of equipment assets and manage the external calibration activities as required.
Procure, install, and manage ESD workstations in respective areas of manufacturing.
Create and execute verification / validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) of equipment and product processes / designs.
Education/Experience or Equivalent:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
Entry Level: (3-5) years of experience.
Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Must show proficient computer and organizational skills.
Experience with performing and supporting internal and external audits is a plus.
Flexible – able to keep up and adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
Skills and Abilities:
Verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.
Understand technical drawings, measuring systems, tools and equipment.
PC-based computing experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, documentation s/w) essential.
Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
