Title: Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating quality control and assurance systems for incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products at the plant. The role manages the quality of ACS International’s processes and products in accordance with customer standards and specifications, ensuring compliance with the IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System within a continuous improvement environment.
Qualificatio
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, Electrical, Materials or similar fields
- Basic knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality standard (IATF 16949 is a plus
- Additional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt, IATF 16949 Internal Auditor) – any of these represent an advantage
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality/production, preferably within the automotive industry
- Experience with quality tools and methodologies (PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, 5Why)
- Previous involvement in managing customer complaints and corrective/preventive actions
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T)
- Experience with measurement and inspection equipment (gauges, micrometers, CMM)
- Ability to analyze and improve processes using statistical methods
- Knowledge of automotive materials and manufacturing processes
- Solid MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with ERP/MES systems for tracking production processes
- English language skills (minimum intermediate level)
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive mindset and problem-solving orientation
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Development, configuration, and optimization of industrial processes from the transfer phase through to stable operation of systems and processes;
- Management of customer complaints;
- Monthly reporting of internal quality complaints and corrective actions;
- Providing support to production and process engineers in defect analysis and implementation of corrective actions;
- Development and support in the analysis of production processes (PFMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, PDCA);
- Updating quality documentation following implemented changes;
- Performing internal audits according to the established schedule;
- Providing support to process engineers in analyzing issues related to detection systems;
- Continuous improvement of detection and control methods.
