Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr – $75,000.00/yr
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Investigate quality related issues both internal and external for root cause and propose corrective/preventive actions.
Issue and track quality improvement documents such as ISO, UL, 5S, 8D, FMEA to their responsible group.
Effectively partner with other departments/areas to promote Quality understanding and be a change agent for Quality.
Be responsible for insuring accuracy and timely distribution of all Quality presentation material.
Perform statistical analyses of data as required to calculate control limits and evaluate for recommended chart applications for data collection.
Participate and/or lead improvement projects (Green Belt projects or Process Improvement projects).
Assist in all other functions of QA group as needed or requested by QA Manager.
Education
And Experience
B.S in Engineering required.
Job Knowledge,
Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of basic computer functions.
Familiarity with computer hardware and operating systems such as DOS and Windows.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks.
Must be familiar with Visual Quality Inspection.
Must understand customer inspection and release processes.
Must understand Quality System Awareness.
Able to work any shift or hours.
Training Requirements
Electrostatic Discharge Awareness.
Proper handling of computer hardware such as, hard drives, motherboards, and CPU.
Quality System Awareness.
ISO preferred.
Physical Requirements
Will regularly sit for approximately 25% of a workday. Other activities, such as bending, reaching and moving about the facility covers approximately 75% of a workday.
Employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FDA regulations.
Work Environment
Warehouse environment.
Occasional exposure to shop elements including noise, dust, fumes, odors, and a range of ambient temperatures.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
