Quality Engineer
Location: Pell City, AL, 35125
Job Description:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues, develop and implement quality control procedures, and monitor the effectiveness of these procedures. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for conducting audits, analyzing data, and making recommendations for process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control procedures
Monitor the effectiveness of quality control procedures
Identify and resolve quality issues
Conduct audits and analyze data
Make recommendations for process improvements
Work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards are met
Provide training and support to production team members on quality control procedures
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and methodologies
Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems
