Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Singapore, Singapore
Work with suppliers & customers to address quality issues, root cause analysis, preparation of 8D reports and continuous improvements.
General Administration support including ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3 Supplier & Customer Audits
External: Handle Quality complaints in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
Internal: Ensure immediate issue containment, timely closure, effective FA, continued effectiveness of CAPA to prevent reoccurrence
Develop, implement and maintain the ISO/IATF16949 quality management systems (Internal Audits, External Audits)
Identify opportunities for improvements on overall effectiveness, efficiency and compliances of the Quality system in accordance to the requirements of ISO 9001 and applicable standards
Identify and address potential risks and gaps in a timely manner
Track and trend quality metrics to deliver tangible improvements to the overall quality management systems
Quality Reporting (PPAP, Test Report conversion, translation, QBR, Ops Review, Biweekly Meetings etc.)
Customer Activities (VDA6.3, IATF16949, ISO9001, EICC-RBA Audits/Visits and Audit CAR follow up)
Customer Support Quality Engineering for MNC Customers
Support in Quality Engineering for factories in oversea
Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3 years and above experience in quality assurance in the electronics industry.
Strong understanding of electronics regulations and quality management systems.
Experience with quality auditing and inspections.
