Job Description
TEL designs and manufactures complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Our equipment integrates a wide variety of wafer processing technologies from wet to vacuum; and all the support systems to make them run: Electrical power systems, mechanical utilities, PLC controls, vacuum technology, custom design robotics and mechanisms, high voltage, RF generators, complex motion control, process chemical delivery and more.

Tokyo Electron Limited is looking for an experienced, process driven, results oriented Quality Engineer in our organization to lead customer complaint issue resolution process.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluates incoming complaint information and maintains the record
Performs follow up activities to obtain additional information.
Engage with subject matter experts to create and refine failure analysis reports.
Use and maintain complaint tracking systems, provide analysis and trending data all on customer complaints
Identify and document appropriate complaint categories to assure trend accuracy within the complaint database
Engage with cross-functional teams to drive complaint resolution.
Monitor, analyze and report of key operational quality metrics such as Startup Issues, Failure Analysis response time and Warranty Cost,
Utilize systemic methodology to identify, prioritize customer identified product issues and concerns
Update customers in a timely manner regarding the status of open complaints
Train and help guide the stakeholder teams in utilizing problem solving methodologies to resolve quality issues
Maintain list of customer related issues and drive for improvements
Support Continuous Improvement activities throughout the organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of related experience; or master’s degree with 6 months professional level experience; or associate’s degree with 6 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Customer Quality experience
Onsite role at capital equipment manufacturer.
Experience with Non-Conforming Materials Control & Disposition Process
Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA)
Understanding of Warranty Cost and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results and continuous improvements
Strong interpersonal collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including external customers.
Proficiency in writing and refining technical reports
Problem solving skills in A3, 8D, PDCA or DMAIC methodologies
Microsoft Power BI report creation
Certified Lean six sigma Green Belt
Project management skills
MRP system quality module experience (JDE or SAP)

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
