QA Analyst/Tester

About the Role:
Seeking a local QA Analyst/Tester with 3-5 years of experience for a 1-year contract role with our client, an established financial services company in Pittsburgh. This role will play a key role in ensuring software quality by leading testing efforts, troubleshooting software issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role has the potential to convert to a full time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Review functional and design specs with Business Analysts and Developers
Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including automated testing
Identify test requirements and monitor test coverage
Track and report defects while ensuring solutions meet quality standards
Conduct test result walkthroughs with business teams
What You Need:
Experience with accessibility testing & accessibility testing tool JAWS
Strong knowledge of SDLC and software troubleshooting
The role is primarily manual testing and test coordination.
Ideal candidate possesses experience in test case development and understanding of positive and negative testing. The candidate also needs a desire to break things and find bugs.
Experience with automated testing tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Azure DevOps
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively in a team environment
