Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Direct Hire job with a client in Mesquite TX 75126 (Onsite). We’re ideally looking for applicants to having Experience in battery manufacturing, electrical components and automotive can work. Strong hands-on engineering experience, ideally in battery or solar sectors.
Salary Range: $90000 – $110000/year; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
The Quality Engineer (QE) will plan, coordinate and develop a culture of Continuous Improvement. The QE will be responsible for implementing quality standards, test methods, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions by collaborating with internal stakeholders to assess the current state and develop plans for improvement and then facilitate the implementation. The ideal candidate is hands-on and committed to quality management and has a strong background in QMS, ISO9001, Quality Tools and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering, or any other related Engineering field.
Minimum of 6 years in Quality Management.
Knowledge of and practice with the basic Quality Tools, 8D problem solving, SPC, ANOVA, GR&R, PPAP, Cpk analysis, and other common measurement and analytical tools.
Experienced on ISO9001 and IATF16949 requirements.
Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and 8D methodology.
