Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through manual and automated testing. Experience in performance testing and exposure to Playwright automation will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Support automation efforts and contribute to maintaining automated test suites.
- Perform basic performance and load testing (preferred).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Experience in API testing and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience with automation testing tools (Playwright is a plus).
- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.).
- Experience working in CI/CD environments.
