Job Summary/Overview
The position is responsible for the testing and timely reporting for the test results of all products processed on site
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations for MSHA/DOT/DEP and the company
· Perform daily pre shift inspections on equipment
· Test materials to determine specific requirements such as weight and gradation
· Perform testing of materials in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
· Input test results data into computer in lab
· Report and communicate test results in a timely manner to superintendent and sales manager
· Obtain release from PennDOT for any materials being shipped to state projects
· Provide customers with gradation and certification reporting as needed
· Keep lab and lab equipment clean and litter free
· Monthly reporting of equipment hours and monthly fire extinguisher inspections
· Assist with plant repairs and plant maintenance, such as cleaning up in and around the plant and quarry as directed
· Fill in as needed at any position in the quarry
· Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
