Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for a contract job with a client in Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Quality and Quality Assurance. In this role, you will drive compliance with industry regulations and Client standards, and work across multiple functions to maintain the highest quality levels across our operations.
Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, with a deep understanding of the quality management system.
Conduct audits across departments to identify quality issues, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations to ensure product quality.
Oversee quality processes, from product to supplier audits, ensuring alignment with Client and regulatory requirements.
Manage and maintain approved supplier lists and ensure external audit compliance.
Use QMS tools (QRQC, FMEA, risk analysis) to manage and improve quality practices.
Support corrective action plans and activities when discrepancies arise, ensuring the quality of products and services.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace or a related industry (medical, automotive, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree preferred
FAA Part 145 experience required
AS9100 or similar auditor certifications
Bilingual in French or Spanish is a plus
Comfortable working with cross-functional and international teams
Physical Requirements:
Regular sitting, standing, walking, and lifting to 10 lbs.
Close vision required
The work environment is generally quiet
