Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

Overtime based on business needs

What you will do:

Provide customer service support to internal customers (Quality, Operations, Materials, Engineering, or Divisional teams)
Interact with internal customers, suppliers, and other external customers to resolve quality control issues
Assist on projects, quality investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide inspection technique, process, or procedure training to others
May work from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests
Calibrate gauges, tools, and equipment to perform quality inspection and investigation activities
Conduct internal product sorts
Required to comply with documentation and regulatory procedures and policies
Gather data regarding non-conformances and notify key stakeholders
Provide non-conforming product escalation support, including investigation and documentation of non-conformances
Work from engineering schematics, blueprints, and procedures to perform accurate tests and checks, and identify non-conformances.
Supports Division and functional area audit readiness for Internal/ External audits

What you need:

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree preferred
Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical device, automotive, aerospace or electronics
Blueprint/Engineering schematic reading and interpretation skills
Basic inspection techniques
Working knowledge of common hand gages (calipers, micrometers, pin gage, etc.) and measurement systems
Working knowledge of quality system regulations
