Quality Engineer – Automation – Dublin
Atrium is seeking an innovative hands-on Quality Engineer to be an integral part of the design, build out and rollout of exciting new product and service solutions. You must be able to work with a wide range of resources: architects, technical analysts, developers, data engineers, managers and product owners to support rapid deployment and adoption activities in an Agile Scrum based methodology. Serve as an Automation Engineer and QA for the software platform ensuring software fully meets our stakeholder’s quality expectations.
Support and implement the overall QA strategy (test plans and test designs).
Applying established vision of automated QA processes via hands-on work across all areas of development.
Solving the most difficult aspect of QA automation.
Supporting and enhancing defect lifecycle process, establishing processes, identifying dashboard and metrics that will need to be maintained to provide insights into the platform’s overall quality (injection rate, escape rate, test coverage rates, etc.)
Confident working in open source test frameworks
Design and oversee QA environment strategy and provisioning in order to maintain appropriate quality across all stakeholders
Work across all team and evangelize Automation first approach
Essential:
Automated testing experience in Java
Working with cross-browser testing and relational databases
Agile environment
Experience working with RESTful services
Working experience with one or more of the following Maven, Github and mySQL
Knowledge of testing React applications
Extensive experience in complex projects with division or company-wide scope
Development background
