We’re looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineers (QEs) with a strong background in both manual testing and test automation. In this role, you’ll help us maintain the reliability and performance of our applications through rigorous testing, deep analysis, and continuous collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams.
You will be instrumental in helping us scale a high-quality product that touches thousands of lives across the property and insurance technology landscape.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Perform manual testing for UI, API, and integrations when automation is not feasible
Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage
Own test case creation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting
Participate in design reviews and proactively identify issues early in the development lifecycle
Build or enhance test frameworks for UI, API, and database validation
Help define and implement best practices in QE process, tools, and standards
Maintain documentation for testing artifacts and regression test suites
Work in Agile/Scrum environments, actively contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives
Requirements
4–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
Strong experience with both manual and automated testing practices
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent
Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs using Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar tools
Good understanding of test planning, bug tracking, and reporting (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
Working knowledge of SQL and database testing
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test integration (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
Nice to Have
Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust)
Background in testing enterprise SaaS or PropTech applications
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
