We are currently looking to fill the position of Quality Engineer – Medical Device (Contract) with a starting range of $75.00 – $85.00/hour W-2, dependent upon experience, education, and skills.
This position requires a full-time onsite presence. Fixed term, not eligible for company benefits.
This fixed-term contract position would be responsible for reviewing, revising and generating product inspection checklists that verify critical quality features.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluating the repository of existing inspection checklists for clarity, accuracy and alignment with their released product drawing(s).
Updating inspection checklists to the new Excel template, ensuring ease of use for end users.
Processing the checklist updates via our eQMS platform (Compliance Quest) to release for use.
Assisting in establishing inspection checklists for new products in collaboration with the new product development teams and design quality.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Engineering or technical discipline and 2 years of related experience.
Knowledgeable in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and ASME Y14.5.
Microsoft Excel power user.
Medical device experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience with measuring equipment preferred.
