We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading thriving Automotive Company in the Savannah, GA area as a Quality Control Specialist for their Electrical Parts division. The Part Quality Control Specialist is responsible for quality inspection and improvement activities of supplier parts, ensuring high quality and conformity to international standards.
Shift: 6a-6p M-F
Salary: $75-$85K with OT after 46 hours
Benefits: Highly competitive benefits with 90% of Medical paid by company
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications
2+ years of related experience in automotive part quality, understanding of quality management systems
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection: Execute plans to ensure part quality, including field claim analysis, supplier management, and part inspection.
Improvement: Analyze part problems, implement improvement activities, and conduct quality meetings.
Facility Management: Manage quality facilities and equipment, oversee investment costs, and establish supplementary investments.
External Tasks: Prepare, consult, and coordinate external events.
New Vehicle Projects: Participate in new vehicle projects, prepare for inspections, establish quality plans, and respond to evaluations.
Other Duties: Monitor vehicle faults, ensure procedural adequacy, plan and monitor corrective actions, prepare reports, handle product certifications, and generate troubleshooting reports.
