Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer Functional opening for our client in Dallas, TX.
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing of applications, ensuring software meets business requirements and quality standards.
Validate Maximo Application version 7.6 functionality and integrations in a structured SDLC environment.
Document and track defects using Jira, and support resolution through to closure.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Support testing activities for Maximo Automation Testing framework (experience in this area is a plus).
Provide quality assurance feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
Skills:
Strong functional knowledge of Maximo Application 7.6.
Proficient in manual testing techniques and best practices.
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Experience with Jira for test and defect management.
Exposure to Maximo Automation Testing framework ().
Industry experience in Energy and Utility sectors is a plus.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering role, preferably with Maximo or similar EAM applications.
Demonstrated ability to perform functional testing and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
