The Role

We’re on the hunt for a QA Analyst who’s ready to dive in and make waves. You’ll help us tackle real-world challenges, bring fresh ideas to the table, and be a key part of our growing team.

As a QA Analyst, you will become part of Apkudo’s Test + Certification Team to oversee and ensure all internal and customer deliverables meet exceptional quality standards. As part of this team, you will contribute to improving the accuracy and quality of deliverables through effective testing methods. The QA team must review all deliverables, such as test plans, data collection, results, etc., to ensure that all deliveries to customers meet or exceed expectations.

The QA Analyst shall be responsible for performing and monitoring testing procedures for web apps, smartphones, feature phones, tablets, and mobile accessories. Individuals will also work to resolve issues during testing and assist in the research and development of current and future testing. He/she will handle routine as well as non-routine tasks, monitor timeframes necessary to complete all tasks consistently and on time, and coordinate solutions with guidance.

What You’ll Do
Ensure quality control of intermediate or final product deliverables.
Test and evaluate multiple Android/iOS models and OS version mobile device variants.
Identify, thoroughly record, and properly communicate to the development team bugs/defects/issues associated with product releases.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Work with teammates to streamline existing test plans and contribute to the development and validation of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Performs tasks thoroughly and completely

What We’re Looking For

We’re not into laundry lists of “must-haves.” But if you check off a few of these, let’s talk:

High School Diploma Required, associate degree desired but not required
Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate, with a demonstrated ability to produce technical reports and document each step of the test process
Proficiency with data handling in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Google Drive equivalents
The ability to meet deadlines while overseeing multiple short-term projects, the individual must be detailed and organized
Familiarity with Mac or Linux, Android smartphones and tablets, and programming languages is a plus
Possess a strong desire to learn new technologies and work methods
Mobile device testing experience is highly desirable
Ability to work in a cross-functional group environment
Excellent organizational and observational skills with attention to detail
Proactive, team-oriented, collaborative, thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Ability to work with remote people effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Highly self-motivated, energetic, proactive, and results-oriented
Ability to work second shift, if needed
