Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Specialist located in Old Hickory, TN. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control measures, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), conducting quality audits, and managing overall quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Experience in Quality Management and Quality Auditing
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience in the botanicals industry is a plus
Associate’s degree in a relevant field of study
Responsibilities
Testing Raw material and products upon arrival
Conducting audits to ensure compliance
Updating and writing/editing procedures for new start-up line
Sampling production product and verifying accuracy of information
Sending product for testing
Other responsibilities as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 – $24.00 per hour
