Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university

Reactive Shainin Green Belt/Black Belt certification

Proactive DFSS Green Belt/Black Belt certification

High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be able to cross the US / Canadian border to assist, as required

Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels of the organization

Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization

Self-directed, team oriented with demonstrated planning/problem-solving skills

Experience and working knowledge of computer systems and software required

Assertive and ambitious nature

Results oriented

Motivated to learn new principles and ideas, and have excitement in applying these new principles

Motivated to make a positive impact in the work environment and on the quality of the products produced

Knowledge of APQP/PPAP & Supplier Quality Manual.

Statistical data analysis and metrology principles, Root Cause Analysis methods.

Knowledge of defect resolution, escalation processes and follow up.

Understanding of vehicle design, assembly, and process control.

Understanding of tooling and Automotive assembly plant processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communications skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Ability to develop an action plan and drive the procedures for issue resolution.

Proficient in Microsoft suit and Google, TeamCenter Cad is a plus.

Self-motivated. Able to meet deadlines with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
