Pay Range: $50-70
Manages the implementation and execution of program quality requirements. Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the program’s life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production, and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems, suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production, and mobilization phases of program execution.
Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to the quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented, current, and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of the program (e.g., quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans.
Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 4 yr Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered an emerging authority.
Quality engineering/quality management experience.
Experience with program start-up process, First Article Inspections, flowdown of Quality requirements.
Understanding of Hardware Quality processes.
Understanding of Supplier Quality processes.
Production, Manufacturing, Process Engineering experience.
Experience leading projects or teams.
Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires US Citizenship.

Program Management Experience.
Experience with ISO
9001/AS9100.
Risk Identification and Mitigation.
Formal Root Cause Analysis Experience.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt.
