Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX. You will be the Quality Engineer Senior for the PAC-3 Missile and Launcher Sustainment team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality sustainment support for the PAC-3 missile and launcher systems. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer Senior you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across the sustainment lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, Program Management, suppliers, and customers to embed quality standards throughout the product sustainment process.
* Provide technical data and analysis to support engineering investigations and root-cause/corrective-preventive actions.
* Lead data-integrity reviews, drive closure of non-conformance reports, and contribute to Corrective Action Board meetings.
* Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.
* Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements.
* Work closely with both Internal and External Customers to ensure adequate acceptance of product.
* The position requires previous quality engineering experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the development of manufactured and procured products.
* Individual should be a self-starter, with an attention to detail, who can work autonomously with minimal direction in a fast-paced dynamic environment. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time STEM degree in Bachelors or higher, or equivalent experience Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance Previous quality experience in developing and
reviewing quality standards, methods, work
instructions and procedures Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
Thorough understanding of engineering requirements
and inspection methods Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board) Experience solving complex problems associated with
the quality of products and in Quality Management
processes / capable of performing root cause analysis
and identifying solutions to complex problems Experience working with Government customers Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Must be able to effectively communicate and interact
with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all
other stakeholders

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or
ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building

Advanced Product Quality Planning
Experience with use of inspection gages and
measuring equipment Earned Value Management System Cost Account
Manager (EVMS CAM) certification Familiar with requirements for handling and control of
Government Furnished Equipment/ Property during
field, ground or operational test
