Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team at our Greensburg and Rankin facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting quality audits and utilizing precision measuring instruments. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to quality and excellence.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular quality inspections on products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform quality audits to assess the effectiveness of quality systems and processes.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to measure product dimensions accurately.
Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality inspections and audits.
Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in a quality control role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for data collection and analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining independence in decision-making related to quality issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting of inspection findings.
