We are looking for a talented Mid-Level Quality Engineer to join our client’s team, a leading financial services institution. In this role, you will be an advocate for software excellence, playing a pivotal part in delivering exceptional value to their customers while upholding the highest standards in software development practices.
About the Role:
As a Mid-Level Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing quality practices and driving the evolution of test automation. You will design, build, and extend robust automation test frameworks and tools, all while working closely with a team that values collaboration and technical excellence. Your Agile mindset and passion for diverse software engineering technologies will help you navigate and improve complex systems in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Champion: Lead initiatives to improve quality practices and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Test Automation: Advance our client’s test automation efforts by designing and developing effective automation frameworks and tools.
Integration & API Testing: Implement integration and API tests, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
UI/Web Testing: Develop and execute automated tests for user interfaces and web applications, including cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform testing.
Cloud Technologies: Leverage your experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred) to support quality engineering processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, business SMEs, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to create solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
Problem Solving: Bring creative and effective solutions to complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Expertise: Experience with tools such as Playwright, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Postman is highly desirable.
