LOCATION:
Quality Engineer Trainee – Baldwin Park, CA
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Support Quality Manager and Quality Administrator with managing and maintaining customer, interdivisional companies, and supplier expectations and requirements.
Review contracts, specifications, purchase orders, and planning.
Recommend, review, and approve changes to manufacturing plans and drawings based on customer and internal requirements.
Perform internal and external audits.
Participate in RCCA investigations; provide analysis and recommendations for corrective actions and nonconformities.
Assist with training of internal employees regarding Customer and Quality System requirements.
Plan and implement quality initiatives and continual improvement throughout the organization.
Maintain control of calibrated gauges and tools.
Support the quality inspection team as needed.
The preceding functions are examples of the work performed by employees assigned to this role.
