Job Summary
Tivoli’sWorld Staffing is seeking a Field Services Quality Inspector to conduct on-site inspections of power transformers during delivery, installation, and commissioning. This role ensures all products meet quality, safety, and customer specifications in the field, supports root cause analysis and issue resolution, and acts as the key quality liaison between customer sites and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough on-site inspections: visual checks, mechanical verification, nameplate accuracy, and spec conformance
Confirm product integrity post-shipment, during installation, and prior to energization
Identify and document transit damage, installation errors, and non-conformance issues
Represent quality professionally at customer sites, communicating findings diplomatically
Support troubleshooting and resolution in coordination with engineering and quality teams
Lead or assist root cause investigations for field quality issues
Provide detailed feedback for continuous improvement and validate corrective actions
Prepare detailed inspection and non-conformance reports, including photo documentation
Track site issues and actions using company reporting tools
Adhere to safety protocols and customer-specific safety requirements at all times
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Quality, or related technical field preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in transformer manufacturing, electrical inspection, or similar field quality roles
Strong knowledge of transformer construction, installation, and industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, NETA)
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test documentation
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer interaction skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently in dynamic, remote environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting software
Must be able and willing to travel extensively across North America on short notice
Schedule

Travel required (up to 100%)
