   The Opportunity
  Â
   Our client, a cable and electromechanical assembly manufacturer serving military and aerospace industries, has engaged us to identify a Quality Engineering Manager for their Lititz, PA location.
  Â
   This position reports to the Director of Quality and is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and priorities of the Quality Engineering team while supporting programs and project activities as assigned.
  Â
   Other responsibilities include:
  Â
   Hiring, staffing, training, and handling all personnel issues of the
Quality Assurance
Engineering team
   Managing workflow and setting daily priorities for the QAE team
   Ensuring compliance with AS9100 Quality Management System requirements and customer contractual requirements
   Interfacing with customer representatives on matters of contract acceptance, product acceptance, and shipping
Qualifications include:
  Â
   Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent
   15 years of
Quality Assurance
or
Quality Control
experience with demonstrated accomplishments
   Prior experience with Military or Aerospace Quality System rules, regulations, and standards
Experience with
cable, electromechanical assembly, circuit card assembly, or EEE components preferred
