Role Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality and Governance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT governance frameworks, quality management systems, and compliance with standards. This individual will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing governance policies, ensuring the alignment of IT operations with business objectives, and driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across our IT organization.

The Quality and Governance Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing and maintaining robust IT governance and quality frameworks. This role ensures that IT operations, infrastructure, and projects are governed by best practices, meet regulatory standards, and deliver measurable business value. The position involves managing governance structures, monitoring compliance, and fostering an environment of operational excellence across the organization.

This role also oversees the performance and compliance of managed service partners, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and governance policies.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage IT governance frameworks aligned with industry standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO.

Develop and enforce governance policies, processes, and standards across all IT operations , Digital transformation & projects.

Ensure governance frameworks are scalable and adaptable to evolving business and technological needs.

Monitor compliance with governance frameworks, industry regulations, and corporate policies.

Lead initiatives to achieve and maintain certifications such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ect

Conduct regular audits, assessments, and reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Identify and evaluate risks associated with IT and governance practices.

Develop mitigation plans and proactively address potential gaps in compliance and governance.

Define, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to governance and quality.

Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for executive leadership, highlighting governance compliance and quality performance.

Lead quality improvement initiatives, incorporating best practices from frameworks such as Lean and Six Sigma.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across IT teams.

Oversee the performance of managed service partners to ensure alignment with governance policies and contractual obligations.

Implement robust SLAs, performance metrics, and regular compliance reviews for external service providers.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align IT governance with organizational goals.

Design and deliver training programs on governance frameworks, compliance standards, and quality assurance practices.

Required Experience:

Demonstrated experience implementing ISO and COBIT standards and other governance frameworks.

Experience in driving certification processes and managing enterprise audits.

ISO Lead Auditor or Quality Management certification.

COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies, ITIL ISO (Risk Management).

Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt).

ISO 27001 (Information Security).

PMI-PBA (Project Business Analysis), or similar
