Summary:
Develops, implements, and coordinates a Quality Assurance Program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products or processes, monitors customer satisfaction, and communicates the effectiveness of the program throughout the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes, evaluates and presents information relating to the organization’s efficiency, quality, and process capabilities
Reviews non-conforming product or processes, recommends solutions and helps to eliminate root causes
Works with other management in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, work instructions and goals
Monitors Modular’s adherence to standards and procedures, and takes corrective action as necessary
Helps prepare a fiscal budget for the Quality Assurance Program, justifying expenses
Visits and confers with representatives of material and component vendors to obtain information related to supply quality, capacity of vendor to meet orders, and vendor quality standards.
Reviews technical publications, articles and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in the industry
Conducts periodic reviews of the Quality Assurance Program
Communicates the effectiveness of the Quality Assurance Program to upper management at scheduled intervals and makes suggestions for improvement
Act as a liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Quality Management System
Implements and maintains an effective system for monitoring customer complaints and overall customer satisfaction
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Follow all procedures and work instructions as documented by the Quality System
Suggest improvements to product design and/or procedures/work instructions as needed
Comply with Company’s regular and timely attendance requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the review and oversight of all Quality Assurance employees.
Prerequisites and Qualifications for Position:
Bachelors Degree
5+ years experience in manufacturing QA work
Experience with FDA products a plus
Excellent written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
