Quality Lab Coordinator ensures the accuracy, precision, and reliability of internal and external laboratory testing by establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of laboratory procedures and QA methodologies, be able to work independently, and have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
This role involves checking and monitoring laboratory procedures, equipment, staff competency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The duties and responsibilities of a Laboratory Quality Assurance Coordinator include:
Developing, implementing, and managing quality laboratory policies and procedures
Ensuring all laboratory procedures and tests comply with relevant regulations and standards
Conducting and documenting internal audits and inspections regularly
Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of laboratory data and reports
Training and mentoring staff on quality procedures
Monitoring the quality of testing and the competency of laboratory staff
Investigating non-compliance issues and implementing corrective actions
Assessing the effectiveness of laboratory equipment and making recommendations for improvements
Identifying and addressing potential areas of improvement within laboratory operations and implement new procedures as necessary
Keeping up-to-date with relevant scientific and technological developments.
Review and maintain proper documentation of all quality activities.
Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure consistent quality of procedures.
Prepare and present quality reports to management.
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Quality Laboratory Coordinator or similar role.
Must have experience working in supplements
Knowledge of quality assurance and control procedures.
Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
Experience with laboratory information systems, MS Office, and Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
Must be bilingual

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
