Job Title: Creative Services Quality Control Technician
Department: Creative Services
Location: Macedon, NY – Onsite
FLSA Status: Hourly
Purpose: To review and process jobs promptly to provide the highest quality and manage customer and plant expectations. Provide support and assist others in doing so.
Responsibilities:
Proofread digital files for accuracy
Validate digital files to production-specific requirements
Establish and maintain proper digital file and folder structure
Keep digital files organized according to the procedure
Provide feedback concerning workload and production issues or possible problems
Track internal and external errors/problems to assist in quality improvement efforts and other related duties as assigned
Maintain an effective comprehension of profiling and workflow procedures
Develop and implement new ideas to improve workflows
Provide support for new acquisitions and print processes
Provide support for special projects to ensure deadlines are met
Provide daily support in prioritizing assignments
Consistently meet acceptable standards of quality and quantity
Contribute to department and corporate goals
Demonstrate a teamwork attitude
Maintain housekeeping
Qualifications:
Degree in Graphics Arts or Flexo Printing Technology or equivalent work experience
Extensive experience with
o Mac operating systems and associated software
o Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
o Microsoft Suite
Ability to identify and analyze a problem
