Summary
Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished company products according to well‑defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements.

Coordinate rework and/or reject subassemblies and/or finished products as required.

Document accurately the results of inspections and testing.

Record and manage non‑conformities on components.

Store supplies documentation.

Manage measuring instruments to ensure proper operation and calibration, including knowledge and proficiency in the use of measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, surface roughness testers).

Experience in measuring precision mechanical components (shafts, flanges, gears, etc.).

Knowledge of surface defects related to main welding processes and surface treatments (painting, galvanizing).

Cooperate in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols and checklists.

Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.

Cooperate with production and Quality Assurance to provide feedback to assemblers regarding accuracy of assembly processes.

Requirements

School diploma in a technical field (required).

Previous experience in the same position (required).

Experience with measuring devices and other measuring instruments and suppliers.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CAD, Solid Works.

Reading of technical drawings.

Communication skills.

Problem‑solving skills.

Attention to details.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).
