Tuxford Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Quality Inspector for their production facility in Tuxford. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing business that is committed to quality, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality products to customers across the construction sector.
As the Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, British Standards and internal quality requirements, working closely with production teams to maintain the highest manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities Carry out inspections throughout the manufacturing process from goods in to final sign off Verify dimensions, tolerances and finishes against engineering drawings and customer specifications. Conduct and record quality inspections and testing throughout production. Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards. Complete inspection records, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective action documentation. Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, relevant British Standards and company quality procedures. Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve quality issues and promote best practice. Champion safe working practices and support the company’s health, safety and environmental objectives. About You To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience in a manufacturing quality inspection position and enjoy working in a hands-on production environment.
You’ll also have:
Experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving. Strong communication and organisational skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider production team. HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
