**Quality Technician – Metal Fabrication**
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
One of our clients in the metal fabrication industry is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing or fabrication quality control who is passionate about upholding industry standards and delivering precision products.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process.
Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to verify product specifications.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders for compliance.
Detect defects through visual and physical inspections.
Document inspection findings and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure safety protocols and maintain a clean inspection area.
Inspect incoming raw materials and assist with final product certification when needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training/certification preferred).
Previous experience as a Quality Technician in a metal fabrication or manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of measurement tools and quality inspection methods.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications.
Familiarity with quality standards (ISO, ASME) and manufacturing regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or within a team.
Comfortable with the physical demands of a manufacturing environment (lifting up to 50 lbs., standing/bending for extended periods).
