Our Client, a large international materials/metals company, has a need for a Quality Inspector at their busy and growing location in Kennesaw, Georgia, USA.
The Basics:
We need someone who has some Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) experience, who can use measurement tools like rulers and calipers, has some experience with blueprints, has good attention to detail, and is steady and reliable.
The position pays mid to high $20’s per hour. Day or afternoon or split shift, Mon-Thurs, lots of overtime if you want it.

Key Accountabilities:
Document and data control oversight, ownership and maintenance of measurement devices, corrective and preventive actions and their follow-ups, oversight of quality records held in facility, internal process auditing to ensure QMS is followed.
Responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
QAR does not own responsibility for all Plant training; QAR will act as trainer on quality department documents.
Responsible to ensure proper records are maintained for gages, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.
Qualifications:
Good written and verbal skills are required. QAR must be detail oriented to the requirements of our Quality Management System. Quality system training is preferred, but not required. Desire for additional formal training should exist.
Must have rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Should have exposure to a manufacturing or machine shop environment and be comfortable with short task completion expectations. Ability to work with a diversified work force required. Ability to effectively interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers required.
Quality Systems experience in ISO 9001: 2008/2015 or AS9100 as determined by the Quality & Compliance Manager.
