Quality Inspector – 1st Shift Jobs in Georgetown, TX at AirBorn
The ideal candidate will be organized and highly motivated to contribute to company goals for quality and delivery. Responsibilities will include First Article, In-process, Receiving and Final Inspections as required by the inspection plans. Various other duties may be assigned as needed, depending on skill level.
The candidate must be able to:
read and understand manufacturing drawings
use Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, Gage Pins, Thread Gages and Optical Comparator for Inspection
read detailed requirements.
read and understand inspection plans and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL).
record data neatly and accurately by hand
communicate and document non-conformances, working with manufacturing to resolve, reduce, and prevent recurrence of non-conformances
Specialized knowledge: Understanding of Metric and English Measurements, working knowledge of GD&T or Print Specifications
