JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Inspector will assist with quality control inspection efforts for product coming off the production floor in our manufacturing facility.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist with In-Process quality control (QC), concentrate on product coming off the production floor.
- Continuously audit work areas for identification of the acceptable/rejection of product within the process.
- Advise production supervisors of any observed non-conformity.
- Maintaining lot control traceability documentation during manufacturing process.
- Use quality control equipment to measure quality of product coming off production floor.
- Perform related job duties as required and assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to visually inspect materials. Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens. Requires normal color perception.
- Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to keep detailed and accurate records.
- Ability to focus and perform precision hand movements when operating a machine.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, able to work around machinery.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail. Reason through problems involving set-up and operation.
- Able to perform basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of decimals. Ability to perform data entry operations with accuracy.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per day.
- Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals
- Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner
The pay range for this position is $19.00-$21.00 and is eligible for an annual bonus.
