Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Inspector based in San Marcelino. The Quality Inspector will perform routine inspections, implement quality control processes, ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, and manage and monitor quality management systems. Responsibilities include assessing products and materials for compliance, identifying and resolving quality issues, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the organization’s quality protocols. The role involves collaborating with teams across departments to maintain high quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Holders of relevant Philippine or internationally recognized certifications (e.g., Welding Inspector, NDT Certificates, Safety Officer) are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience as a Civil Quality Inspector in power, energy, or major infrastructure projects.
- Extensive hands-on experience in quality inspection and acceptance of structural steel works （especially welding and coating）, with proficiency in field application of AWS D1.1 and ISO 1461/ISO 12944 is an advantage.
- Candidates with slope support works (e.g., soil nailing, anchors) quality control experience will be highly prioritized.
- Experience in PV projects （especially floating solar） or coastal/marine works is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily QA/QC inspections for civil and structural steel works.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, RFIs, NCRs, and QA/QC documents.
- Coordinate with engineers, clients, and subcontractors regarding quality concerns.
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledgeable in NSCP, NBCP, DPWH, and relevant international standards.
- Proficient in civil and structural steel construction inspection and drawing interpretation.
- Skilled in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and documentation.
