Key Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing plans.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify defect patterns and recommend process adjustments.
- High level of focus to spot minute flaws and verify tight manufacturing tolerances consistently.
- Excellent verbal and written skills to report inspection failures clearly and collaborate with production teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Establishing in-process and final product inspection by using instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to verify that parts match design specifications.
- Conducting visual and functional inspections to catch deviations from assembly protocols .
- Record inspection results in accordance with the control/ inspection plan.
- Ensuring all quality equipment in the shop are calibrated and valid.
- Control of non conforming products by dispositioning them from the work flow and reporting in the PNR system.
- Coordinates with other supervisors to accomplish production and quality objectives
- Willingness to support training and cross-functional efforts
- Other duties as assigned by Quality manager
Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
