We have an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector to join our team.
What you’ll be doing:
Mechanical and visual inspection of manufactured items.
Verify outgoing orders (correct material, count, label, etc.)
Error reporting and remediation.
Perform scheduled internal and process audits.
Continuous improvement activities as team member.
Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s ISO 9001 procedures and perform duties within the scope of these procedures.
Light order entry responsibilities serving as a backup for RMA lead.
What you bring to the table:
Bilingual in Spanish / English.
2-4 years of experience in light manufacturing or warehousing / distribution industry.
Highly proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
Basic understanding of order workflow.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively interface with peers and department management in a tactful, professional manner.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering data.
Must have independent research skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability. Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills. Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize. Willing to wear multiple hats and to work outside job description, if needed.
Works collaboratively. Proactive and resourceful.
