Job Summary
- Lay out parts and inspect using precision measuring and testing instruments, including height gages, optical comparator, and bore gages
- Perform AS9102 first article, in process, receiving, and final inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies
- Identify and stamp parts that are conforming to required specifications
- Interpret blueprint and technical specifications related to manufactured parts
- Identify and control nonconforming material, supported root cause analysis and corrective action
- Perform in-process audits of parts in the manufacturing process
- Calibrate and maintain precision measuring tools
- Verify the accuracy of measurements documented on inspection data sheets
Requirements
- Preferred: strong knowledge and experience of interpreting prints using GD&T
- Preferred: familiar with precision measuring instruments
- Preferred: at least 3 years of experience in quality inspection role or related manufacturing field
- Preferred: knowledge of how to program and operate CMM machines
- Must: high school education or equivalent
- Must: careful and detail-oriented mindset
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am – 5:00 PM + OT
Pay: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour
