SUMMARY: A Quality Lead in manufacturing is responsible for overseeing all quality control activities on the production floor, ensuring that products consistently meet established standards by monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, identifying quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with production teams to maintain high quality standards across all manufactured goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of these principals.
1. Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects and non-conformances.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality specifications and procedures.
Monitor Art creative, pay table, and other game creation processes in adherence to quality specifications and procedures.
Implement and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, data analysis, and deviation reports.
Investigate and resolve quality issues, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions.
2. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of Quality Inspectors, ensuring they are properly trained on quality standards and procedures.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to quality team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
Provide feedback and performance evaluations to quality team members.
3. Continuous Improvement:
Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Initiate and lead quality improvement projects, including process optimization and defect reduction initiatives.
Develop and implement quality control plans to prevent future quality issues.
4. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with quality management systems.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies to address compliance concerns.
5. Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate quality issues and concerns to Production and Print Leads as well as Plant Management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, printing, and others) to identify and resolve quality issues.
Provide training to production associates on quality standards and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in manufacturing quality control role, with leadership experience preferred
Strong understanding of quality control methodologies (Tops, root cause analysis, etc.)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data recording
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The usual work environment is typical of a production warehouse environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with no material or weather-related hazards except those associated with travel.
