Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will verify dimensions of parts against blueprints, using a variety of tools including gage blocks, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators and other hand gages. Additionally, you will inspect products and complete testing throughout all stages of production and complete documentation of results.
Responsibilities:
Verify dimensions of parts against blueprints, using a variety of tools including gage blocks, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators and other hand gages
Inspect products throughout all stages of production
Complete all testing on parts including: heat treating, nondestructive testing, painting, plating, passivation, coating, etc.
Complete documentation of results
Qualifications and Requirements:
Attention to detail/thoroughness
Good problem-solving skills and communication
Manufacturing experience
Familiarity with AS9100 documentation
Ability to read/interpret drawings/blueprints
Must be able to pass pre-employment tests
