Our manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team. Your primary focus will be evaluating components and completed goods to verify they align with our rigorous internal standards and client expectations.
Core Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of parts and assemblies during incoming, production, and final stages.
- Examine items to ensure superior workmanship and identify any potential flaws or defects.
- Analyze technical documentation, including blueprints and detailed work instructions, to guide inspection processes.
- Utilize precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, height gauges, and Go/No-Go gauges to ensure accuracy.
- Check that all measurements fall within the specified engineering tolerances.
- Keep precise logs of all inspection findings to maintain reliable quality documentation.
- Flag and record any materials that fail to meet established quality criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering and production staff to help solve quality-related challenges.
- Execute first-piece and final product evaluations to maintain consistent output quality.
- Support the team by participating in root-cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.
- Guarantee that all finished goods satisfy both customer needs and our internal quality benchmarks.
- Help maintain a safe and compliant working environment by strictly following all established protocols.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of one year working in a manufacturing quality inspection role.
- Proficiency in operating precision measurement instruments like micrometers and calipers.
- Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
- Solid grasp of manufacturing workflows and dimensional tolerance standards.
- Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail.
- Competent in basic computer usage and maintaining organized records.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report quality issues to the production floor.
- Background in industrial manufacturing, welding, machining, or metal fabrication is highly desirable.
- Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
