Job description – Quality Specialist / Technician / Engineer
Lincoln Tool & Design (“LTD”) is seeking a Quality Professional to lead our inspection, metrology and customer quality efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience with molding and various machining operations, is well versed in reading engineering drawings and requirements, has experience operating and programming a variety of inspection equipment including a CMM and Keyence measuring systems, has worked with customers and has experience with ISO 9000 accredited management systems. A successful candidate enjoys close working relationships, works well with a variety of people, is a self-starter and helps those around them perform at a higher level.
Key Position Responsibilities:
Perform quality inspections and work with operations to produce a good quality product.
Work with molding production and mold maintenance to ensure that systems are in place to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction with our products and processes.
Setup measurement methods with all types of measurement equipment to verify conformance to specification. Train molding personnel to use measurement methods.
Work with customers on RMAs, containment, root cause analysis and problem resolution to ensure long term customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, and Work Instructions.
Lead and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions for new and existing products
Conduct and document Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and improve as needed.
Perform process capability analysis (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk) and facilitate improvement as needed.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions using tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams, and 8D problem solving.
Aid in the development of control plans, FMEAs to work towards qualification and PPAP of appropriate products.

Contribute to a positive and productive company culture.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Be able to lift 35 lbs and perform some physical work.
Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) with knowledge of (preferably experience in) SPC, MSA, 8D Problem Solving, 5-why Analysis, PFMEAs, Control Plans and other quality tools.
