Job Matcha are recruiting for a Quality Inspector that will be ensuring all work carried out is to the required standards and meets customer specifications before products are released by the company.
Complying with ISO accreditation requirements. Implementation and
continuous improvement
to the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Responsibilities:
* Drive Quality forward maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).
* Maintaining the organisations ISO 9001 certification and compliance with accreditation requirements.
* A good understanding of MS Office software and Epicor.
* Testing of product features.
* Responsible for the quality of products released by the company.
* Monitoring the production line and doing periodic
quality control
spot checks on parts and other inspection tasks.
* Investigating root causes of quality problems and proposing solutions to NCRs.
* Ensure all Quality documentation is in line with customer, business and accreditation requirements.
* Perform any other duties within capabilities as directed and required by the company.
* Satisfying customer expectations about the product’s quality.
* NCR, KPI, FAIR and survey reporting.
* Perform quality assessments on all incoming materials from suppliers and outgoing products for customers. A good understanding of symbology used on technical drawings, such as welding symbols and geometric tolerances is required.
* Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
* Internal auditing (auditor and or auditee)
* Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
