What You’ll Do
Lead the QA strategy – Develop and refine processes to proactively identify and address quality issues.
Implement automation – Build and optimize test frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Community Success teams to enhance the user experience.
Identify and resolve issues – Analyze defects, troubleshoot problems, and drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies.
Ensure high-quality releases – Conduct rigorous testing to maintain product stability and reliability.

Job Details
Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
Location: Remote
Commitment: Part-time contractor (10-20 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP (negotiable)
Compensation: $20 – $40/hour, with a review after 180 days
Availability: Flexible, with the expectation of joining meetings during business hours (M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM CT)
Must-Have Qualifications ✅
2+ years of QA experience in software testing or a related field.
Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving issues.
Experience with testing methodologies and tools, including automated testing frameworks.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.
Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a startup environment with fast-paced development cycles.
Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Experience with bug tracking and test management software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
